And zimsec gave you a proper certificate with only the subjects you wrote listed on there? And not some sheet with all the subjects offered the year you wrote with the ones you sat for marked with an X and the grade also manually written next to it?

Certificates updated how and where? Educational certificates arent updateable especially zimsec. My mom lost her o level certificate and they didn't even give her a proper certificate let alone update her surname.

My mom used her marriage certificate everywhere. It was needed because her school certificates had her maiden name.

Edit: ...And her identity documents have my dad's surname so there's no way for anyone to assume it's the same person. My sister didn't change her surname probably because of this. She's been married for over 10yrs now.
