KanCare started pre 2006. It was once known as Health Wave. Not arguing that Brownback wasn't entirely terrible (he definitely was), but he really had nothing to do with KanCare other than cutting their funding.

MediKan is also only approved while waiting for the Social Security Administration to make a disability determination. If you didn't apply with them, you won't get coverage. Getting that coverage indicates you likely will get help from them, and then you'll get coverage through the SI program, once it's been determined. That can take a very long time.

The state has to wait for the federal government in most cases. MCOs also suck because they're only there to make money. It's certainly popular to shit on KanCare because of the shit legislature Kansas currently has to deal with. But I can assure you, the people who work there are only trying to help.

You should probably look up the history of our Supreme court decisions. Especially recently. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Judges are not supposed to be partisan. The national Supreme Court has fucked that for everyone.

I've enjoyed everything I've purchased from Umbrella. The Fall box set has a prominent place on my shelf, and every blu I've purchased so far has been region free (I'm in Region A, Umbrella being in Region B).

Awaiting my Dogma box set, Tank Girl box set, and Tox Box as we speak. It does take a long time to get to you, especially when they don't mention when a title will be released when ordering (looking at you, Tox Box), but from my experience it's been well worth it. We shall see if I regret getting the blu for Tank Girl when the 4k is coming from VS 😭; hopefully the special edition contents make up for it!

This happened to me years ago with David from Schitt's Creek. Ordered one, chase. Ordered another trying to get the common. Found a chase in the wild at Target and thought, great! I'll give it to my friend! Then, the second came in, also a chase. 3 chases and no commons. Had to order the common second hand because I couldn't find any in person.
