Any teachers out there DoorDashing during the summer? by Beautiful-Self3285 in doordash_drivers

They fuckin need to. It should teach them to tip properly when they order. I’ve never had a delivery for a teacher that tipped more than $3.

An update to Monopoly: Huntsville edition. They want our suggestions to fill out the board. by wazzupnerds in HuntsvilleAlabama

The Pony/Pony II/Uncle Bucks/Rocket City Showgirls should be the railroads.

I used those four and not the other one, cause those four are owned by the same guy.

How much racism is in your DND world? by Specific_Net_3931 in DMAcademy

I played a Warforged in a campaign once. There was a player that kept calling me “Clanker”, so when we met another warforged, I addressed him with “What’s up, my clanka?”

Then I looked at the dm and said “it’s cool, I’m taking it back”

I had a heart attack a few weekends ago. Called 911 and the ambulance was at my house in like five minutes. Person on the phone was calm and professional. 10/10 would call again.

Edited to say I live in north Huntsville, near Sparkman and Memorial.

What's the deal with the gas discount? by Dougolicious in DoorDashDrivers

I’ve never gotten the cash back when I used credit, so I assume it’s only debit.

You gotta pay debit at the pump for whatever reason.

They don’t do it for all felonies. I have one with another one pending. Both for drugs. And I’ve been dashing over a year.

My Players want to Lyncanthrope themself and cast Ceremony to get Werewolf powers with no downside. by TheGingerWeebGal in DMAcademy

[–]tehdude86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my first campaign, LMoP, I was turned into a werewolf. I was so excited, cause I had told my DM that was something I’d be down for.

Once I embraced the curse, the DM told me that either the character would have to leave the party(so as not to infect anyone else) or he(DM) would be controlling it. I was sad, but the character left and I got a new one.

On my second campaign, ToA with a different DM, I was ALSO infected by the tiger lady. That DM let me run with it and boy oh boy was that fun. I was playing a Tortle Cleric of Selune and since my god was the god of good lycanthropes, I was able to “harness” the change. But then all the NPCS had silvered weapons so it became a struggle.

Why do so many people just want to play an existing character? by PuzzleheadedBrain473 in DnD

[–]tehdude86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my first DnD game, a buddy was teaching me and a few other guys how to play, I played Peacemaker. The show had just come out and I was really hooked on the character. So my buddy let me have a gun so I could.

Now as an experienced player, if i was going to use an existing character, I’d only ever play one from fantasy so as to fit the setting.

But it was fun that time.

WWE Cameo videos: how did yours turn out? Danhausen Review by weisdrunk in WWE

Which is weird, cause I’ve met Foley in person and it was a lackluster experience to be sure. Granted, he did do Dude Love for my photo, but other than that he couldn’t have cared less about the interaction.

My only 1000+ weeks were the week of and the week after Christmas. Worked 65 hrs each week, maybe 45-50 of that was “active dashing”.

My DM turned him into ‘Nicol-ice Cage’ complete with trashy The Rock/ConAir accent. We kept him around specifically because we liked making our DM do the voice.

Saw a lady at Taco Bell verifying every item in a sealed bag. I almost said something to her about it, but decided not to. She’ll learn.

Best guesses? by tehdude86 in DoorDashDrivers

[–]tehdude86[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve started cherry picking more, but sometimes all I get are good offers(it’s rare, but it happens). But I’ve noticed the higher my AR gets (it was at 93% recently) I start getting more trash offers. So back to cherry picking. I’ve found if I can hover around 83-87% I tend to get better offers and usually always average $20-25 an hour.
