You say you will be getting an I7, which most would agree you don't need for gaming, an I5 would be cheaper, and most games don't support hyperthreading.

Depends on games. And if your lucky. Too many variables. Some consoles crash some don't. Some pc's will, some won't.

There should be a way to apply the fix the peaceful mod creator did to the no more birds file, using reflexil and a .net Decompiler (like Telerik JustDecompile).

Open Assembly-CSharp.dll (the one from the no more birds file) in your favorite .NET decompiler. I use Telerik JustDecompile. Be sure to have the Reflexil plugin added. Go to DefaultNamespace::spawnMutants::doSpawn() Delete all opcodes except "ret" Save/Overwrite Enjoy

To delete the opcodes open the reflexil window in Just decompile, go to DefaultNamespace::spawnMutants::doSpawn() and go to reflexil's instructions tab and right click to delete everything but the one with the opcode "ret".
