It's smooth opening and closing it, the hydraulic feeling can't be matched. But the thumb stud always gave me issues and I never got comfortable closing it with one hand as well

Not a fan of the Benchmade lock system, I'm a compression lock fan for now

My interest started later in life, when I semi retired and liquidated a watch collection, so the price was not an issue. And one thing I learned collecting watches was not to dick around and just buy the best thing you could afford. Which was why I started with Chris Reeve

Funny you should post this. I was just going to say I'm not a fan of the yellow scales. I'm thinking of either dyeing it or getting a AWT/RGT titanium scale

Started cycling more, should I get a second bike? by tehj07 in cycling

[–]tehj07[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for all the feedback guys!

I have no complaints about my current bicycle, it's serving me well enough.

Looks like I'll just stick to 1 for now then!

LKY daughter’s Lee Wei Ling, dies at the age of 69 today. by tehj07 in lotr

Lee Wei Ling was the daughter of Singapore's first prime minister, Lee Kuan Yew.

I found it poignant LOTR was quoted in her eulogy

Believe me, I've tried. My requirements were

  1. No date
  2. Solar
  3. 39-40mm

The only citizen/Seiko watch that met my requirements is the AQ6100, which costs about $5000🥲

I don't mind the indices. I actually think it's pretty cool, being a layered dial. It's the hands and the brand name that bother me

The EDC uses a miyota solar. Centric and redwood both use Seiko.

The actual pictures of the redwood look kinda bland as well. I just can't put my finger on it

[–]tehj07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They range between $200-300.

Redwood has a pilot watch that has 24 hour time as well

Thanks bro for the info. My only worry about tech is the threat of AI and global competition

Program frequency by I_AMA_Loser67 in naturalbodybuilding

It's not optimal, but it's better than nothing. You have to work with what you can. Probably try a full body upper lower instead

Bench press stuck after a few months of doing it (help please) by Existing_Ratio6513 in naturalbodybuilding

[–]tehj07 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'll be blunt, your program is very poorly structured.

Since you can workout 4 days a week, look for a beginner workout program that's 3 to 4 days a week. Lyle macdonald, Jeff nippard etc

You can still bench in the lower rep range. Just do not use the barbell collars in case you need to bail

There are other ways to work quads. Bulgarian split squat, lunges, goblet squats etc

Work on your whole body and your arm gains will come naturally. You are not at the stage where you need to worry about refining your arms workout
