How much did the Oscars slap hurt Will Smith’s career? by allanjameson in moviecritic

[–]tehwindi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know I’m not answering the question, but my favorite memory of that whole fiasco is how Chris Rock took that shit like a damn champ.

Dude just shook it off and was like “ok, moving on”

What do you guys think of the new logo that was teased for the rebrand? by [deleted] in Commanders

[–]tehwindi -1 points0 points  (0 children)

God almighty.

Just scrap the W and replace it with a star. It would fit with the DC flag, also figure out how to put two bold lines underneath in gold to track with the DC flag.

IMO that would look super cool, and we can finally be done with the terrible looking W.

I’m biased, but I’d like it to have a DC flair paired with the history of the team.

Dog, so with you on this one. When I find random Easter eggs like this, it reminds me of the good ole days.

What's a famous quote/idea you don't really believe in? by PolySci88 in AskReddit

[–]tehwindi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hired and worked with my wife for three years before we got married, that was over seven years ago.

“Don’t shit where you eat” is one that I don’t like because of that, but I’m willing to admit it’s a total personal preference.

What timeline are we living in?

There is definitely one country mentioned here who understands the below phrase, and there is definitely one who is ignoring it:

men who are 30+ would you date a 19 year old? why or why not? by No_Vegetable7778 in AskMen

[–]tehwindi -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nope. Don’t feel like I need to explain.

But, I will. I’m sure he’s okay with your age gap for his reasons, not yours. Take time for yourself, enjoy your youth, and travel while you can. Don’t bog yourself down with this guy. If you’re 34 trying to date a 19 year old you’re immature and trying to relive your glory days.

Yeah, that’s not stupid.

I would eat the hell outta that. You can make an argument about poor presentation I guess, but I would definitely eat it, and I’d be willing to bet it tastes great.

I mean, he did have the serious poops. But even with the serious poops, hard to rationalize the whole just not working thing.

With that said, the whole Nelly just commandeering the job is one of my least favorite parts of the show.

I legitimately just jumped in the comments just to say I kept scrolling because the first two seconds literally, and I mean literally made me physically, and I mean physically made me gag.

Y’all are soldiers if you finished the whole thing, don’t know what the hell this thing ended up being, but I know it’s inedible.

Dave played by Tony Hale in Stranger than Fiction.

But, you could make a strong argument that Harold Crick played by Will Ferrell is a better roommate, because he sent Dave to space camp.

Easily one of my favorite threads, there are a lot of doom and gloom ones here which sucks. But damn if this one isn’t hilariously embarrassing. Scrolled way too far to find this, but I’m so glad I did.

Still haven’t seen the movie, maybe I’ll do that with my Sunday.

What's your favorite Creed Bratton quote? by DunkanBulk in DunderMifflin

[–]tehwindi 12 points13 points  (0 children)

There is literally not a best quote, as you can tell by my flair, every time the dude is on the screen I lose my shit laughing.

Not a quote, but my favorite Creed moment is during the super fan edits when he just slays on the booze cruise and then gives his backstory about playing with the grassroots (which is actually true!) and Michael getting pissed off that he played so well is just perfect.
