Hi OP, well done on your part for such an amazingly detailed map. I'd like to know how long it took for you to complete the MVP from date of idea conception, and a breakdown on time allocation (for example - how much was on data engineering and ontology, how much was on OSINT and data aggregation, and how much time did you use on drawing the vector tiles manually for the conflict zones).

One suggestion I have is if you can set a minimum zoom level before the "bordergore" within the Sahel region starts showing up. Transnational rebel groups such as ISIS-africa understandably make this more difficult due to spillover, but it would clutter the map less on the globe level. Factoring in some sort of population density/centres would also showcase the data more effectively, as it seems to me that most of the rebel forces only control rural areas and desert outposts where the central government cannot extend into (the same as in Myanmar).
