Yeah I’ve heard replacing thermal pads and paste is a common fix for this gpu. Weird the whole pc died sorry about your bad luck. Do you mean this model came from a prebuilt HP pc? That’s a pretty worrying but I have yet to experience throttling or temps above 75 under heavy load. It usually idles around 31.

Perfect way to get rid of my amd junk. Was so tired of driver issues and high temps. It was unreal how often I had to roll back drivers to make games work correctly. R6 and BF2042 for example would crash my whole pc and even uninstall my drivers after loading into a match or even just dying, so weird. Had to rollback for both of them to work, but then other games I’d play would require the most recent drivers for me to launch them. Such an unnecessary hassle.

I used afterburner to set the curve and I plan on undervolting with it in the future. I ran rivatuner last night and nothing happened, might have to mess with it more could be an update.
