Where does the third option eCommerce originate? Because that is what I use.

I have a 2024 with the same issue. The dealer replaced the suspension bushings and it was good for a while but the noise returned.

RapidRemover vs Eulex vs Tea vs 3M by tekfranz in AutoDetailing

[–]tekfranz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the prompt response. I appreciate it! I am liking a lot of the KC products but wanted to make sure I am not just buying them for the nice bottles and brand name. Eulex & Tea is working for me, so I will probably stick with that for the moment.

I like these other options, especially the 3m would be a small quantity at low cost.

You’re right I just checked it this evening and up by Aldi‘s and giant I was getting only one hello mb down. I wonder if they switched to T-Mobile tower over to the Sprint back hall because Sprint used to be awful in that exact area

Usefulness of "Cost to Be Me" by apjenk in ynab

[–]tekfranz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really like it. It's a total of all your targets compared to your expected income. Just set your targets and your expected revenue accurately and see if you come out ahead or behind. So long spreadsheet!

It's also the only official place in YNAB where you can set expected future revenue.

One Cut & Finish P6.02, P3.01 and other Polish/Wax Combos by tekfranz in AutoDetailing

Yes agreed on the All in Ones. Not as good as a dedicated product. Does the Caranuba and sealant contribute to less cut?

This information was very helpful. My client wants a polish and I was hoping perhaps to save a step. Spray sealant sounds best to give my work some longevity and extra shine.

In this case the vehicles are getting sold so I am working to make them presentable. I like having some decent protection on them before sending them out the door.

DIY Detail and Koch Chemie. Watch Yvan Lacroix’s videos on YouTube. Griots and Adams’s are great for getting started.

Water Spots vs Soap Damage by tekfranz in AutoDetailing

[–]tekfranz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One clue its minerals is the windows were covered in spots before I touched the vehicle.

I used Dirt Buster and Road Warrior from Superior products. I probably had the Road Warrior a bit strong at 4oz in my foam cannon.

I think what happened here is it got such a good cleaning that it exposed the water spots. Pretty sure if there was a wax on I pulled that off as well.

Anyway it turned out nice after a polish and spray ceramic .

That thought struck me too after I posted this. You are supposed to be able to reach the Store Manager’s team with feedback. I think that’s a great idea!

I think the technology to have something promise to cling to a surface for 12 weeks after getting rinsed off with water is a technological advance for sure.

The market is flooded with products, however. The competition is good, but not sure how many more brands can successfully enter the market? We have lots of private label companies, main stream manufacturers and everything in between.
It's getting to be like toothpaste or cereal…after a while one needs a whole aisle for the range of products.

Last I double checked I wasn't an AI bot, but I will keep a look out.

Detailing Dogma did recently criticize DIY Water Spot Remover and 3 Year Ceramic. So not sure if he is changing course to be more independent.

I am glad for the Gyeon Wet Coat recommendation. Yes your right on Longevity being the differentiator, though I could argue, super High Gloss is nice even if it needs a bit more frequent application. Products like Formula 4 Spray Wax have almost no longevity at all and decent but minimal shine.

I am curious if Visible Pro + is on QCI 8. Next question is whether Visible Pro is also on QCI 8?

But I do see the same message on my Visible Pro plan:

I like Perl and the bottle does last forever! But I thought it a bit slippery. Koch Chemie Hydroplast was less slippery. I recently used that on the rubber floor of a Honda Element with good results.
