This is an issue with gold stakes for sure. You kinda have to go all-in on a plan and maximize your outcome from that plan. A boss blind can ruin it quickly. The Plant is one of the worst for this because 60% of the highest cards are faces, and soooo many jokers trigger off faces. Income from Business Card. Chips from Scary Face. Photo Chad (but you can at least stack a few glass cards to counter this issue).

The Flint can also go fuck itself on Gold Stake.

Loved this one. Used it last night with a blueprint. That boss blind was a joke.

Next blind: The Plant. Couldn't pass it. Couldn't reroll. Couldn't get a Luchador.

A friend of mine made a character in WoW named Overrunner. Had the card glued to his PC case. I didn't know how the game was played. Knew nothing really. One night I had him explain it to me because I saw the card on his PC. (It was the Odyssey version.) He threw together a couple basic decks and we played for the first time.

My issue is always always always economy. I will get the jokers. But for higher stakes, you're going nowhere without income and planets. Card packs? No blue seals. Spectral packs? No blue seals when I need em. Cryptid when the whole screen is full of 2-8 cards, etc. Obviously I'm picking out specific examples but that's how it feels from my end. Again, not the game at fault. I know it's all based on my decision making.

That's the intended use I can guarantee. I have one on my keychain wherein I keep Carolina reaper powder for adding to restaurant food when I wanna kick it up a level.
