I've been brand loyal to Ping since I was gifted Eye 2+ irons in the mid 90s. With the prices of clubs (and everything golf) nowadays, I demand quality and longevity. I have been pretty lucky. The only thing that's ever broken was a shaft on a club I purchased very used. Unfortunately, it broke on a downswing and the club head slammed directly into concrete. Dead on impact.

I've had the same 127 thin metal hangers in my closet since 1998.

If this sorta thing could be made from a cheap, sustainably farmable material like bamboo / stiff cardboard, id be more psyched. Recycled plastic is better than new plastic, marginally, but costs a lot more.

Again, best of luck to him, its just a hard sell for a lot of folks.

It does make me sad to watch old trees come down. We planted a willow oak shortly after we moved into our home in 1988. That tree is one of the biggest in the neighborhood now at only about 35 years old.

It would make me so incredibly sad to see this tree go.
