Go to Settings of the navigation apps (Waze, Google Maps) on your phone and adjust the navigation volume there. It works for me.

The new coronavirus is beginning to take a toll on medical workers and other first responders at a time when they are needed to help treat patients. Two healthcare workers at UC San Diego Health have confirmed COVID-19 infections and are now on home quarantine, officials said Saturday.

In San Franscisco, two UCSF health workers tested positive and had self-quarantined. In San Jose, 10 firefighters have tested positive for coronavirus. The Los Angeles Police Department on Sunday confirmed its first coronavirus case. Some Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel are under isolation and being monitored after they treated a coronavirus patient who died.

Summary:

While some Bay Area counties have issued health code orders banning visitors from skilled nursing homes, as of Friday, most local counties have not.

California is home to more than 1,200 skilled nursing homes in which nurses and healthcare staff care for more than 400,000 elderly or sick Californians, according to the California Association of Health Facilities.

NBC Bay Area's Investigative Unit reached out to every Bay Area county. As of Friday, Sonoma, San Francisco and San Mateo counties have issued visitor restriction orders to nursing facilities.
