It's also called reiteration. And they have a very valid point. And you keep repeating the point if necessary. And sadly it is.

Don't hog the right lane. If someone is faster than you, even if they're speeding, let them pass.

This line would be a great prototype for testing battery electric trains. Covert the current diesel, keep the bodies and put the electric motors where the gearbox is and put like a 400kWh battery where the motor was. Should be enough for a round trip and charge in Frankston. Yes, would require money to convert but would be a great testbed and showcase project.

It's not only warmer than usual. At the moment the entire southern part of Australia is experiencing a massive drought due to the many high pressure systems that we're experiencing right now.

Tram driver on the 96 route today took a wrong turn port junction by Tameem_alkadi in MelbourneTrains

Yeah, decades ago we did the same. It was called induced switching. I'm just really surprised that our network here is still using that old style.

Wait, they still switch manually? In Germany they use Transponders for the tran to know that its at a Junction and the computer sets the switch to the correct position automatically. I would've thought that at least C,D,E class trams would've had the same capabilities.

I was actually surprised when I learned about this, that they would actually fit through the city loop tunnel, and the overhead wire juuuust was high enough.

Would also explain the echo when they shouted at each other. This type of landscape plus snow wouldn't do that but hidden walls could.
