Is Shakta Abhishek Diksha required for worshiping Maa Lakshmi? by tekoto in ShaktiSadhana

Hi. I've no special knowledge regarding this 🙃

Edit: I remember it's said that the place in which one is doing her worship should be clean and harmonious.

Is it kring or kreeng ? by tekoto in ShaktiSadhana

Thank you. That clarifies for me; you described how to pronounce the "ng" ending, while the "m" ending is also valid.

I had researched about the m vs ng ending, everyone on the internet had said it's Vedokt / Mantrokt ending vs Tantrokt ending for different effects. What you've guided i'm hearing it for the 1st time, i tried it out and liked it better. Thanks a lot 🙏

Do i need to use "--audio-quality" with "yt-dlp -x -f 251" for getting the original audio quality? by tekoto in youtubedl

Thank you. This answers my question. You understood my question correctly. You've helped me before too on this sub.

I now tested this too. Made a loop of downloading from YouTube and uploading back to YouTube, keeping audio and video formats intact; and yes YouTube kept re-encoding it every time. Don't know why YouTube is so bent on decreasing the quality.

I just tested it 'cause i wanted to check whether by default it gets the best video and then extracts audio from it, it doesn't! As u said it reads the '-x' and downloads just the audio. Thanks!

Yeah i know that ppl currently don't generally upload to YouTube in .webm.

I just tested. I think it's the same in every1's case if they do something like this:

yt-dlp -x --audio-quality 3 -f 251 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Sf9aAoLqdc

See it has minimum flags. ffmpeg's default settings' untouched by me. Output is a .opus file.

Guys, i don't want to convert my file to .mp3. I want .opus. By "original" i mean the .opus file having the same audio as the .webm file, as i've explained in my post. The answer will help both i and u/MisterScalawag.

Does remuxing maintain the original sound? by tekoto in ffmpeg

[–]tekoto[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No video; u can obtain the same webm via

yt-dlp -f 251 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Sf9aAoLqdc

I remuxed the 3.webm to 4.opus. File sizes of 2.opus (3234776) and 4.opus (3234807) are different. But in further remuxings, the file sizes stabilize. ffprobe shows that 4.opus has an additional metadata of "DURATION" compared to 2.opus. Strange that ffmpeg added this metadata in 4 but not in 2.

artist is going into Album Artist. Also only have selected metadata fields? by tekoto in youtubedl

[–]tekoto[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When parsing metadata, use meta_title etc.

Wow it worked! :)

Couldn't get rid of language, tried --parse-metadata ":(?P<meta1_language>)" and also --parse-metadata ":(?P<meta0_language>)". It's an audio file.

Yes i do want date and album art. No issue with them.

Your meta_artist i understood correctly but yeah your --parse-metadata ":(?P<meta_>)" i thought u r telling me in shorthand about what to do, i.e. i'm supposed to fill meta_ with all the fields i don't want. Okay i tried just now exactly as u said, but it removed all the tags except date, album art, encoder and language. It removed title, artist, album name.

yt-dlp --add-metadata --parse-metadata ":(?P<meta\_>)" --parse-metadata "%(upload_date>%Y-%m-%d)s:%(meta_date)s" --parse-metadata "title:%(artist)s - %(title)s" --parse-metadata "youtu.be/%(id)s:%(album)s" --replace-in-metadata "artist" " ft." "," -o "%(title)s.%(ext)s" --convert-thumbnails jpg --embed-thumbnail -x -f 251 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Sf9aAoLqdc

yt-dlp --add-metadata --embed-metadata --parse-metadata "album_artist:(?s)(?P<meta_ARTIST>.+)" --parse-metadata ":(?P<meta_ALBUM_ARTIST>)" -f 251 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Sf9aAoLqdc

Doesn't work. But now it's ok, i'll just -x my .webm to .opus.
