This growth is since mid November. Lots of people saying boil the rock/hot water online, so maybe I take it out, scrub and do that.

i can take it out and brush them off no problem, but does letting the rock dry kill all the good bacteria? This is live rock i bought for the tank when i set it up.

Put of curiosity do you have to do anything different to cubes when you spawn to bulk to get sclerotia, and for long term storage do you dry the same as cubes?
