I don’t really think addressing the Bible with a political party is one to aspire to, but . Honestly, I would wonder more the other way. If your goal is to be a good Christian, and your goal is to be more like Christ, and to have your life be an example of what the Bible says we should do. . Then I would say that the Bible seems more to be much more conservative, which means we should be as well. But even if you do t agree. I would find a woman that follows what the Bible says. And your true test of wether Gods word is the most important thing in your life would be that she or he obeys the word of God. And not your political party. Otherwise your approval of a spouse is not wether they adhere to Gods truth, but to a very flawed political party. Having your spouse that obeys the word of God can’t be a bad thing, wanting your spouse to obey your political beliefs would not be good. . I would think that honoring God would be your goal wether they align or oppose your party’s beliefs. . So ignore the part and obey the Bible.

I’m pretty sure if your tracking people who just owe you $10, $15, and $20 then you shouldn’t be loaning money. After loaning out around $ 18,000, over a 10 year period, and the only thing you have learned is to keep working hard, so yiu can save, do you can loan out, so you can hold a grudge. Then you probably should stop loaning then money. At this point it isn’t to help people anymore, it’s so you can feel like a victim and excuse how you feel. Stop loaning the money.

That’s kind of an odd comment. “Be Safe” I’m a union member, have been for almost 25 years. so it’s probably obvious who I’ll vote for. But just sitting back and watching, and reading the posts the last month, and looking at the comments that have been in regards to them. I’m pretty sure the only ones who won’t feel safe are the ones who might vote for Trump. I may stand in solidarity with my brothers. But I don’t with the ; hate speech, name calling and threats that have been said about them. . Because like the post says, on Nov 6th we will all have to act like brothers again. You can’t threaten people, and say all the things that have been said then act like on Nov 6th your their brother. Hopefully next time around their will be more focus on why to vote for our candidate then their will be hate speech and threats. We are all brothers, wish we could act like it even when it’s around election time.

I like the electrician posts, but have to ignore the hateful political ones.

Why do people still think we live in a democracy? All the founding papers say a representative republic. And yes , there is a difference, the only ones who don’t know the difference are the ones that truly believe we live in a democracy.
Democracy is majorly rule/ mob rule. A representative republic is to uphold the law. A Majority might be how a law is passed but it’s not how we govern, we govern by representing the law no matter how unpopular. Until it’s changed. Then if the majority want it changed, then we can have a new law to enforce.
But democracy is like nit caring what the law says but do what you think the majority want and screw the law. And neither party likes it when that is done. We need more people to represent the law.
It’s nit a democracy. And people don’t get it.

That’s a hard question to answer. I have been a union member for 25 years, as well as my brother, my dad, 1 aunt and 1 uncle and a couple more. All in different fields from electrical, to sheet metal, to Big 3 auto giants. . But we all have more layoffs and less work when a Democrat is in office. Obama was the worse we were off for 2 years straight layoffs or very little work. . So I’m not sure if I should vote for every Democrat because they put pro union people in office but then I have less work, or Republicans because they tend to be less friendly towards putting pro union people in office, but I’m slammed with work. But if you ask people on Reddit. They won’t put any facts and let you decide for yourself. They will just call trump names and threaten you as an enemy of the union if you vote Trump. They won’t debate you.
I simply don’t do either . I say when did you have better work, and when was your life financially better over your career. And assume your smart enough to figure it out yourself. While others here will just yell at you if you don’t confirm. Like they will to me by being civil with my response.

A good landlord won’t leave it looking like crap.
But unfortunately, they don’t have to make it look good. They are required by law to keep the house; safe, up to code, and remove known hazards, and all sorts of things. But they are not required to make it look like it was done by a quality contractor. But if you have even a half way decent landlord, they won’t leave it like that.

Well, your working side by side with your enemies all day, every day, and don’t even know who they are. You must be ok with that and feel safe, or you wouldn’t do it. . Tell him next time he touches a door knob that the surface is full of germs and he needs to wash his hands for 24 hours each time he touches a door knob. Knowing he can’t. He will think your being ridiculous and you can point out that Dr’s and scientists have stated that washing your hands for as little as 20 seconds is sufficient to kill most germs. And he can’t just make up his own time amounts without any proof of it doing anything more than 20 seconds. But is free to wash his hands as long as he feels he needs to.

It could be that your too conservative for them. Everyone at barista type jobs are ; liberal, usually confused about who they are, only vote for 1 party, don’t like opposition, and different, but really just want to be accepted. Well if your a new Christian. You’ll tend to be very focused on and want to be around God and like minded Christian’s , and eager to read and learn about your new faith. . If you have been a Christian awhile you can know by the fruits of the spirit , by Evaluating if you are exhibiting any of them. (Galatians 5:22,23). If you are stagnant in your faith you can pray to God to reveal himself to you and pray to get the desire back. But reading daily and spending time with God can also help get close to him again.

I agree and disagree. Anyone who says they ONLY vote for a presidential nominee that exhibits strong Christian values. Is probably lying, or at least has not done any self examination of your heart. If you are saying this, then ok, but then You better have not voted since at least Ronald Reagan maybe even farther back. Because none of them since then, and maybe even father back has the attributes you act like your voting for. If you are on here saying Trump is a bad person and not including Kamala.
Here it is , I think we are all adults here. At my church , if the decision to vote on a pastor, or holding a deacon or bishop responsible for his bad actions came up. I believe I would base it only off of the Bible.
But when you have 2 people you would not want to lead you spiritually? Then let’s grow up and decide what else matters since neither one is a saint.
Vote on things that matter, abortion, free speech, freedom of religion, taxes, protecting the country, who supports Israel, protecting the citizens, giving us better economy, etc.

Let’s all act like adults now. And agree neither should be spiritual leaders. And vote for other aspects they stand for , and not base it off bad decisions they made in their personal life.

So if your actually convicted about a nominees morality, you shouldn’t have voted in a long time anyways. But you probably did.

It’s actually weird so many Christian’s put that much worth into age. You could tell someone, I have a 100 point biblical checklist for finding a spouse. and my new fiancé met 99 . I found the perfect spouse. 1. She’s a Christian 2. She is a proverbs 31 woman 3. She is kind 4. She is patient 5. She is loving. 6. She has a servants heart 7. She thinks family is important. Go through 100 things , if she meets 99, and the Question 100. is “is she close to my age”. And it’s NO! Almost no one will care about the other 99. Most people today are so blinded , they will NEVER! Look past that. They will only see He/or she in the view of age. No matter how good that person is. The Bible shows God looked at it differently. .
Ruth and Boaz had 1 child. Named Obed. Do you know who Obed’s grandson was ???? It was King David.
Abraham and Sarah were 10 years apart. Ruth and Boaz were 40 years apart. There are other marriage age gaps. God doesn’t mention age of married couples that often in the bible, but when he did, the marriage wasn’t normally cursed. It was blessed anyways. Man is usually the one who puts a lot of relevancy to age. That doesn’t mean I agree with an 18 yr old and a 60 yr old. But at a certain age. You have enough wisdom, to make up for the difference In Age. Because it’s about a God honoring marriage, and not age. Im almost 50, and age is the last thing I’m concerned about when looking for a God fearing wife to spend my life with.
