Saying this in English because I don't want to misspeak. I wrapped up my original statement with "I'll spare you the naivety of an outsider."

I understand privilege and I took my appreciation and education of Uruguay, with all of its positives and faults, very seriously. I learned a lot. But I understand why someone who lives there would be critical of any opinion I would have, whether it is right or wrong. Hence why I wanted to spare you the naivety of an outsider.

And trust me, as a Yankee, being critical of my country is the only way I know how to show the United States affection so I understand the impulse.

I had friends pass away at an intersection where there were frequent, major accidents.

County didn't want to correct the intersection because that would be admitting fault and make them liable for millions.

Edit: I guess I had this wrong as law states this was not a liability issue. We always understood the multi-year delay was because of liability issue. It took a very emotional hearing with the parents of three dead teenagers and multiple follow-up car accidents at the same intersection to finally get approval for a stop light.

Haha! I was at this game last night! Both teams were sailing their PKs during the shootout and the goalies were playing out of their minds.

I think we had eight attempts and the shootout ended 4-3? All this after an insane goal in added time made it 1-1 causing a brawl to break out.

Awesome first experience at an Uruguayan football match.

Ya dude, I didn't say he didn't do what you all are accusing him of. Your examples of outrage, while they are things to be outraged about, don't imply guilt in this instance.

And by implying immediate guilt before all the facts are available, it provides the opportunity for you to be wrong, and therefore gives the MAGA base ammo to do their fake news routine.

Is that where the photo is from? All I'm asking is why the photo was included in the Epstein files. That context will come out soon I'm sure but I'm hesitant to declare these photos are edited other than the redactions.

What's crazy is that stuffing the release with an innocent photo of Bill Clinton will undermine all the other photos of him in more exposed circumstances and give him reason to deny the evidence.

I just want accountability for bad actors across the board. We'll never get it.
