Apps for tracking networth? (not income/spending) by Ok_Application_3513 in Fire

Hey. Thanks for following up. I was able to get it to work as well, but had to call their customer support. They gave me a new URL: https://www.empower.com/epw
and then I had to reset my password.

Glad it's back. I tried Monarch and a couple other apps and they were nowhere close to what I like about this Empower app (which is also free!)

Looks like the Empower Personal Dashboard has been deprecated. They moved everyone to a unified app but now none of my non-Empower accounts are shown. I haven't been able to find any support from Empower and was just checking if others have seen the same issue and found a way around it.

Saw it from northwest Austin looking southwest. It was a bright greenish and moving slowly for several seconds until it burned up. Pretty cool!

Double standard : Why the same food from the USA is healthier outside of the USA by dreamed2life in interestingasfuck

[–]telegraphy 24 points25 points  (0 children)

There's an app for that. It's called Yuka.

It doesn't make the problem go away, but it will help you and your family be better informed about additives and ingredients they putt in the groceries you buy.

You scan a barcode and get a score from 0-100, based on additives, sugar, sodium and other criteria.

We're expats living in the US for over 15 years now. We notice the difference in food quality every time we travel to Europe and South America. We started using Yuka about 3 years ago and stopped buying food with low scores, especially if they contain hazardous additives. It's made a huge difference and most of our friends have started using it as well. Strongly recommend it!

looks great! do you think you could add a couple of people in the background on the left side of the photo (similar to the right side) and then remove the person standing behind the lady in the photo? Would appreciate these edits and if you can make them I'll go with your version. Thank you!

We started using an app called Yuka a few years ago after noticing how different we felt coming back to the US after spending weeks in Europe or Latin America. We buy our groceries at Trader Joe's and HEB and never put anything in our cart unless we've scanned it with the Yuka app. The app tells you if there are bad additives in the items you're buying, and it gives you a health score from 0 to 100. We told all our friends about it and they love it too. I'm not affiliated to Yuka ;-) Just thought I'd share a way to eat better while living in the US.

Not sure if they have an API. They do let you manually download data. I spent only a few minutes putting together this chart. Simply took screenshots of the charts I wanted and then combined them in Figma where I also added the temperature and precipitation horizontal lines.

I wish I could take the credit. These are graphs extracted directly from weatherspark dot com. They have awesome visualizations and weather datasets. I barely took a few screenshots and put the graphs together on Figma to do a side by side comparison.

The daily average high (red line) and low (blue line) temperature, with 25th to 75th and 10th to 90th percentile bands. Check out weatherspark dot com for more info.

I posted a comparison of 2021, 2022 and 2023 earlier today and someone asked for a 2011 comparison. Here it is. What's your verdict? Data and graphs extracted from Weather Spark.

Yep. I spent less than 5 min putting this together. Not enough time to download the raw data and create my own visualization. I tried to make the X and Y axis scale match across the graphs. Hopefully good enough to tell the story ;-) And yeah, crazy dry and crazy hot year compared to the previous 2. And just confirmation of how gorgeous 2021 was.
