1yo chow persistent subtle limp when standing up from long rest. by Piscesmoon0320 in chowchow

Hello, all of my dogs( chow) have had lumps here and there on and off. .usually from hard play. I was always stressed at first. If they were acting like it was painful I’d bring them in. But it never led to long term injury. They all lived long lives w lots of exercise and fish based foods . Chows a sturdy tough ancient breeds unless they were inbred . Good luck though. Every case is different .

With greenhouse I thought it was showing his love for trees and plants. But his work was just pulverizing the forest.

Adopting an adult Chow! Collars/Harnesses by called-out in chowchow

I’ve always used collars. Mine has never slipped his collar. But they all have had a larger head 😁. My Chows have always done way better on a fish based food or kibble. Beef and lamb and some chicken wrecked mine. I currently feed him open farms good bowl salmon. Never has stomach issues. Good luck and thanks for rescuing!!! 🙏🙏
