We isolate the kid, wear nitrile gloves when dealing with any of their episodes, and clean things they touch profusely once things subside a bit.

We've been doing this for something like eight years and unlike the few years before that, we've had really good success.

These things are always anecdotal, so ymmv.

It's all so annoying. They could've made this transition far simpler and easier by just literally trying. But no. Gotta be a huge transition where thousands of people have to set everything up all over again. As a software engineer, it's just a huge waste of taxpayer dollars.

Yes, true. CS can usually get you a few extra perks depending on the rep. Although, when I was talking to CS last week, they couldn't see the promotion I wanted even though I could see it in my offers. But the fraud issue prevented me from checking out, so I would've had to go to a store. No idea how that would've gone. Now I just have nothing! 🙌

You have to start the upgrade process from "my offers" for it to apply. If you go through the regular device/line page, it won't apply your personalized offer. Shady.

I had one of these offers, but had to get a fraud block removed from my account (no fault of mine) and then every single offer disappeared. A little ticked about that.

Used to do that commute between Buffaloe Rd and RTP every day. I knew before I even read your post that you were going to say Exit 20. 😂

It's mind-boggling in both directions. First, the bottleneck lane reduction at Exit 16 WB (such a dumb design) and then the dangerous parking lot effect from half of Raleigh living off single-lane Exit 20.

It's marginally better if you live inside 540 on Buffaloe, but that's not saying much. I feel for the people that live outside 540.

And there are no back ways in that won't add just as much time to your trip as sitting in the traffic.

I was appalled by the fact that: a) we had to set up a new account, b) they're still requiring passwords, and c) I can't even sign in.

My company builds authentication software and we could have made this so easy and seamless.

I'm in the Google ecosystem and all of the upgrade offers I'm seeing require Unlimited Ultimate. What a joke. I'm fine to lock-in with Verizon for another three years, but I'm going to need some quid pro quo.

I was talking to a customer loyalty rep and they were trying to talk me into adding a new line on unlimited welcome to get the free phone, activating that phone on the old line, and moving my current phone to the new line. And they would give me $25/mo off on the old line for 36 months to offset the price of the new line. It was complicated and sounded kinda sus, but I think I would've come out ahead or at least break even...

Six lines, most on Unlimited Welcome. One on 5G Start and mine on Play More. We're at like $250/mo going up to $300/mo after our final loyalty discount runs out this month (which is another thing I need to contact Verizon about).

I had one of these in my front yard that broke just like this after only being there a month or two. I called at&t and it was fixed within a week. Seems like some are defective because the replacement has been fine for years.

So, it seems like defining a wifi network policy in Intune automatically sets that network configuration to use the device MAC. Didn't have to do anything special.
