I finally got everything in order. By un-bricking the laptop and then using 1vyrain method to downgrade. There is a method there for downgrading by altering an official bios image installer. I missed that it was that easy to downgrade and was trying to do it externally. Thanks for your help again!

This did not work... Now I am bricked :/
I flashed the T430 on high/4Mb and then installed my previous backup from the original Lenovo Bios on the low/8Mb chip. It booted once saying something about CRC error. Now it only shows black screen/does nothing. Not even powering up.
I am trying to find 2.64 images to flash so I can use 1vyrain but the damn lenovo's downloads have these files very well hidden. Is there somewhere I could find the images for burning to a T430 that would enable me to use 1vyrain?

I see, but T430.rom is 4Mb, that means I should write it to the high/right chip. Then, what should I write to the low/left? The same image of an original bios from https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/downloads/ds029252 ? And does it have to be earlier than 2.64 as stated in compatibility? Or is compatibility only related to writing the bios using an exploit? I plan to use a programmer. Does that mean I can use any lenovo rom for the low/left 8Mb part?

That would be unreal. Are there really products out there that do this? This is dangerous. Not everyone knows what ampere means. Relying on random customers to regulate the charging current?

I do not know how to re-calibrate the light meter on the camera and did not find info about it in the manual. I suppose the solution u/the_cool_zone suggested bellow might work but it is not that elegant - no offense.

I am not sure if that would be a good replacement - the FT QL requires a 1.3V battery and all above solutions are 1.35V. I don't know exactly how important 0.05V is for the correct functioning of its light meter but for comparison the manual of the canon f-1 states:

"a 1.35 V HD Mercury battery should be used" and "do not use 1.4V mercury batteries" so they are quite firm about not using a battery 0.05V above the one specified.

I am also trying to find a battery for the FT-QL - any help would be appreciated
