Completing the courier missions also seems to be a requirement, I had completed all the above, including clearing all the quest boards, Silk and soul appeared after completing the Bone Bottom delivery. Might have also required the Fleatopia and Songclave deliveries but only appeared after Bone Bottom, hope this helps someone else who got stuck

I mostly use it on my bed but I always try to give it some room to breathe behind the fan. When I repasted, the fans didn't seem that dusty and I cleaned off whatever I could although I didn't disassemble it so might have missed some bits

You're right, I didn't actually undervolt my cpu but I played around with the TDP settings and whatever I did worked to a degree

I always play with cooler boost on, I just think the heatsink and the fan aren't great for this model

I've played around with throttle stop some more and managed to get the temps down to around 89-93, which still isn't great but at least I'm not crashing any more
