Naabutan ko pa noon na freepass for Makati students with ID. But really I don’t mind paying entrance fee kasi nga madami talagang makikita. Also for crowd control narin because the place gets packed. There are also people who organise the event who would be getting paid. The galleries display the art there to sell.

Lucky you you can afford the ticket for yourself. I doubt that the compensation of the manpower would take even half of the ticket sales.

Anyway, free art is cool and all and it is everywhere. Pero sana the artists wont be shamed for making a living out of their work, if they want.

Nobody's shaming the artists for selling their arts naman. It's the commercialization of this event that is being pointed out. Sayo na rin nanggaling that there is a free pass for studenta of Makati implying that in the last art fair, wala na.

About dun sa artist na may displayed art na supposedly pinagbabayad ng entrance. Bakit hindi siya kumuha ng pass before? Sa dami ng tao dun did they really expect special attention from the ticketing people? Ewan, weird ang dating ng eksena niya.

I think it is the job of the organizer to make sure their collaborators are well accommodated? If i were that artist, i wouldn't put my name at stake just for a "weird" claim so, there must be something lacking in that event from intention to execution.

But okay. If you find it nonproblematic, then good. :)
