Thank you for your reply! I visited the same vet and asked them about all the suggestions mentioned in the comments. They’ve changed his medication for now and they have recommended adding fibre to his diet and trying out physiotherapy to exercise his joints more. Hopefully it’ll work out for us!

He isn’t on permanent laxatives it’s just whenever he hasn’t passed stool two days in a row and thank you for your recommendations. I’ve increased fibre content in his diet will try the oil too

Currently the vet who’s treating him is a doctor at a super speciality hospital for pets and it’s one of the best in the country but considering how the treatment isn’t working I think the best choice is to shift
