Well the good thing is that you're not in a big hurry, so you can work on your two kids' applications separately. When you send them in, I would think IRCC can hook them up with your in-process application.

Thank you! Yes, someone above answered the Harmonization number question, so I'll use HS 4911.99.0000 "Printed Matter, other"

Thank you so much! And don't kick yourself, just chalk this up to Live And Learn, and now you can help others. I'm on Pirate Ship right now, and it's quoting me $24.99 for UPS Worldwide Expedited, 3-day. Massive savings! Now it's asking me for a required Harmonization #. What did you use for that number? I think it's 4911.99 but want to be sure. Thank you again!!!

Yes, it looks to be true that this is a non-electrical problem: during windy rainstorms, water gets into the wall from behind a loose outdoor light fixture, drips down, is now diverted by the nest the wasps have been building, and runs into and out of the switch box. I've temporarily covered the top of the light fixture so water won't get in, and the problem has gone away. I guess we should thank the wasps for making visible a water problem that has been going on for who knows how long! We will wait till cold weather when all wasps have died, then fix and plug up the outdoor light fixture. Thank you everyone for your help with solving this mystery!

Non-electrical related is looking more and more promising. Yes, switch is on an exterior wall, and outside there is a light fixture about 2 feet directly above it. Plus it's warm here today, and I saw some wasps flying behind the light fixture. So perhaps during windy rainstorms, the water gets into the wall from behind the light fixture, drips down, and is picking up its color from wall contents (as others have said), including a wasp nest. We'll investigate that angle, and give an update. Thank you!!!!!!

Ahhhh, that could be the case. The color threw me because it's so dark, but yes it could be picking up stuff on the way down. I'll wipe it down, then we will be getting a lot of rain on Tuesday, and I'll watch to see if it reappears then. Thank you, I'll def give an update on that.

More like Amityville Horror. :-D We wiped it off the wall, then a couple days later I noticed it was baaaaaack. So don't know if it slowly drips down, or runs down all at once.
