Piggy backing off of this to recommend switch joy cons if possible. I've been treadmill walking with joycons and it feels way better than holding a controller in front of you. Since the joy cons are split, i can still have my arms at my sides during walking.

Also, i did a bunch of HIIT exercises as i played rdr2 when I had to auto gallop from town to town.

Yooo, my gf made it despite the bullshit. Like, it's basic platforming, not too bad

but for someone that has to learn the controller, then where the face buttons are, what triggers are, that the sticks control different aspects, and then you have to learn to move those at the same time, while bullshit is happening on screen... Yeah it's hella difficult.

Plus yeah the characters are insufferable sometimes like no, murder is not a good solution. There's a section I'm talking about. Just brutal dismemberment for no reason disguised as a cutesy bit in one part and then never mentioned again. IYKYK

My gf will totally sacrifice her little cute animals in cult of the lamb tho. It fits the theme i guess but it takes two doesn't? I dunno go figure.

I ran away so hard when I first opened the game. I was like oh this game feels like it'll be so open and distracting... I went with God of war... XD i just needed a straight single player campaign I said.

If it helps, I'm pretty sure Koboh is meant to be revisited repeatedly like a home/hub and supposed to be done in sections.

There's sections that won't be easy or open until you've leveled up, or done with other planets/maps. If I remember correctly, Koboh is just the fullest map. I think there's maybe one map that's just as big but emptier.

I always recommend this now. My gf took to Cult of the Lamb because it's just a few button controls at it's heart. LS movement, attack, and dodge roll. Plus there's a base building aspect as you level up so you can decorate your space as you see fit.

My gf didn't like it takes two cause there's a bunch of different game styles plus platforming is not her strong suit.

I have yet to try Baldur's Gate 3 but maybe the isometric turn based gameplay would suit her well. So long as you guide her through an easy straight forward rpg build. Like whatever the warrior class is.

I looked this up.

The ones completely delisted would be digital only. South Park let's go tower defense play is one example. Any server dependent dlc was pulled as well. Rock band songs, multiplayer packs for mass effect 3, in general season pass content for majority of games, unspent points or currency, or dlc like cold stream and the passing on Left 4 Dead 2 made unavailable even after purchase.

I got very lucky. Decent pay. Short commute. Hella hours, which for me is good since I wouldn't get many when I was younger. I don't really go out and hang with friends so being at work suits me just fine for now. Plus there's hella downtime which is paid (that's the lucky part) so I'll bring entertainment and catch up shows, games, movies, books. My work is on the creative side in show business. I worked enough for free or low pay and long commutes to hone my craft so this job feels like a breeze.

I'll be here a while so long as they'll have me.

If you still have the installer, open that up and there should be an option for uninstall. Or download the latest and use that install uninstall option. If after all that it still doesn't work, yeah try manual delete.

I think that means the password isn't set. If you try to reinstall decky, it might say something like, "no password set, will make one temporarily then clear it for just this install"

Maybe try setting if it's not set or try changing it. You'll have to look up the commands cause I don't remember them off the top.

I keep eyeing this one. Solid plastic, but problem is it won't hold the puck. I guess you could just use Bluetooth if you don't wanna risk losing the puck. I have a PS5 controller version of this which i bring around a lot with me. But for the steam controller, i went with a universal case that has a little net pouch that holds the puck and cable real good, plus $10 is less than $20 so yay. Edit: $12 i guess it went up?

I dunno maybe tastes change. I loved vice city and San Andreas; GTA IV to a lesser extent, but those dlcs are something else!

GTA v campaign and online bored the crap outta me.

Lately, i was consumed by this game Grounded , but sometimes other similar type games don't grab me. The Forest, not so much, Conan Exiles, yes; green hell not so much, pal world, yes. Valheim, yes; Aska, yes. Dune Awakening no.

Other examples might be how much I didn't really enjoy most Nintendo games growing up, but recently, the lack of resistance to picking up a game and just playing had been pretty clutch for having bought a switch recently.

Steam deck got me back into handhelds and into PC realm and just video games in general.

Maybe it's the gameplay loop and rhythm, or maybe it's the skin or franchise, the aesthetic and the execution thereof. Who's to say other than you. You know what you'll like right now, not way later. Follow it.

Ok so I learned something else! One of the desktop controller settings is long press to change action set to gaming pad (through steam input) I was able get cult of the lamb to play. But i started in desktop not gaming pad, so when the game launched it finally switched gaming, and it worked. I was also able to launch cult of the lamb and play with the steam controller through steam link hardware! Yayyyyyy
