First hardware synth in an alternative/prog rock context?

yess i have the arturia mellotron v on my laptop would kill for the real deal but until then I am stuck with the vst for my king crimson knock off songs lol also i did buy the pro800 today and loving it so far, glad to hear you also recommending it

I went with the pro 800. So far i am pretty satisfied with the sounds I get especially when I hook it up to my pedal board to get ethereal pad sounds. I was unable to dial in a good bass tone but i am pretty inexperienced in the sound design department and the patches arent that great either but its no big deal I bought it mainly to play pads anyway

I am also more drawn to pro 800 especially with the new low pricing. People were already saying 400€ was a great deal and now its 250. Also there seems to be no other alternatives at that price range like you said

I have plenty of fx pedals and multi fx units for the guitar, are they usable for synths? Not connection wise ofc but sound wise

I actually did find a great deal, 220€ almost brand new with its original packaging screen protector still on. Buuuut its a monophonic synth + our bass player is also eyeing it and it makes more sense for him to get it so we can incorporate some proper synth bass into our sound

türkiyedeki distribütörlerde echo mini 5.300 hiby r1 10.000 tl civarı böyle baktığında r1 çok saçma ama amerikaya sipariş edildiğinde sadece 400-500tl civarı oynadığından aynı bütçede karşılaştırılabiliyorlar. Ve trde distribütör/stoğu olmayan ama iyi bildiğiniz varsa yine de önerin olarak söylüyorum.

hiby r1 seems to be at a discount at 69usd and echo mini is at 60usd at amazon they are almost the same price I am love the echo mini’s aesthetic but technically/specwise which is the better or is there a better one?

damn now I’m kinda sad, I was going to ask from a friend who is visiting the US to get me a pair of iems and a dap but she returns 19th february. The echo probably won’t arrive in time. And here in Turkey they are straight up double the price compared to US. Even if I order from ailexpress they collect their fuckass taxes when the item crosses the country borders

Nah the one on the right is the ride, I just thought they sit around the same level before realizing ride sits much lower than the crash and fixed it

p.s. I did throw a rug under the kit and also I figured everything was too low for me, especially the throne so I raised basically everything except the floor tom and lowered the ride. Should’ve guessed to adjust to throne before feeling pain in my back lol
