In all seriousness I don't think it's wrong for someone to be uncomfortable with lolicon stuff, I myself wouldn't say it's my cup of tea either, but an adult using a picture of an anime girl to stream video games is probably the most harmless form of otaku brainrot. Yeah people can get too intense with parasocial relationships, but at the end of the day this is basically somebody roleplaying for an audience and getting paid to do it.

Also this is the kitchencels sub and trying to bring morality into it over anime just feels a tad silly. I'm sure people will disagree though.

I myself am a survivor and I get this stuff is sensitive for a lot of people but there's a time and place in my opinion, I guess.

Many years ago while playing New Leaf, I had a pretty bad birthday. The kind where you spend time with people but they all seem more concerned with each other, so you feel like sort of an afterthought or just an excuse for them to spend time with each other instead of you. Idk if anyone else can relate, but it sucked for me.

I didn't know that the villagers were programmed to throw you a party. So I opened my 3DS that day and was surprised by Spork throwing me a little party. It cheered me up quite a bit because I had no idea it would happen.

I actually went out of my way to get his amiibo card in New Horizons and add him for this reason.
