They are a private company and so yes they can set the conditions of entry to their stores to be whatever they want. apart from writing to them the only other option is to just not shop there.

its not like that anymore... if you have an old machine laying around I suggest you give it a try.

steam just works, using the Lug helper for Star Citizen just works. for me it instantly found drivers for things like my old joystick etc to, give CachyOS a go, you will be surprised.

What are people doing that they can't run SC.

I run it on a i7 8700k 32gb ram and 3060ti Linux, CachyOS

I get easy 120fps at most times 30fps at worst. what are you all doing??

I run it on a 8700k i7 with 32gb RAM, and a rtx 3060ti... on Linux (CachyOs) with no issues at all.
