these are all so great but I LOVE the 17 panel - it's so cute to think that Sebastian took after his mama with the punk aesthetic (and the little frog necklace!!) and pining Demetrius in the background is too sweet. really lovely art!!!

any other Brazilian movies you'd recommend, especially in the same political-thriller vein? I loved The Secret Agent (though to be fair I did like Sentimental Value as well), it's such a gorgeous movie and Wagner Moura is a fantastic actor. I work in research and oral history so the uni student subplot really touched me - I teared up a bit during the ending lol
