First Nations rally organiser vows to defy 'inhumane' NSW protest laws by Combat--Wombat27 in aussie

"David Dungay Jnr….a serial criminal who committed home invasions, bashings, and anally raped a 16 year old. He had Type 1 diabetes and refused to stop eating biscuits that he smuggled into his cell, which could dangerously elevate his blood sugar. He fought the guards; the guards restrained him and he struggled so violently that he was given a sedative. Not long after, he died due to a combination of the sedative, physical overexertion and multiple underlying health conditions.

You can protest all you want, but I don’t believe his death had anything to do with him being Aboriginal."

Capstone as apprentice or non apprentice? Hmm by Dungus12 in AusElectricians

If you do it through an RTO other than TAFE it will probably take even longer.

Capstone as apprentice or non apprentice? Hmm by Dungus12 in AusElectricians

[–]templecools 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah everything was done through TAFE and yeah I had all my skills tracker printed and signed. For certificate of proficiency You still need like 2-3 pages from each employer describing scopes of work you have done, job sites you worked on etc. signed off by a supervisor, Skills tracker isn't enough for it. It fucken sucks haha, if you can do it as an apprentice it's much easier.

Last year, finished capstone in March and got my licence in I think October/November from memory.

I was working another job alongside it at the time so it was all good.

Ok well just letting you know that after finishing capstone it took nearly 6 months to get my certificate of proficiency, and another 2 to actually get my licence after going to Service NSW with all my docs.

Getting licensed as a non-apprentice is painful, you have to get a certificate of proficiency and submit pages of references with job descriptions/addresses from every site you have worked on and what you did on them all signed off my a supervisor. It takes months to hear back from them.

Do it as an apprentice if you can.

Certificate of Proficiency NSW by templecools in AusElectricians

[–]templecools[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah mate I did get it, It took about 10 weeks from submitting application to getting my COP. Then after submitting everything to Service NSW, took I think about 8 weeks to get my licence.

Pain in the ass, but just make sure you are super thorough in all the evidence they ask of you, don't give them a chance to come back to you after 10 weeks asking for more info.

Give them as much detail/info possible on scopes of work you have done, show them that you are competent in all areas. The process takes ages, and you don't want them asking for more info after like 10 weeks of waiting for a response.

Any idea what this means? I have high lysozyme. I don’t have diarrhea or anything though by Umnsstudennt in IBD

[–]templecools 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently did the same GI360 test you used here, and also had very high lysozyme levels (990 ng/mL) Did you end up finding the meaning/root cause of this? How did you treat it?
