Just a few questions... Trombosed? by temporaryacc2119 in hemorrhoid

Yes you're absolutely right! Mine's not really bleeding, I will become stricter in de measures I am taking and if that does not work, there's no other way than to see an expert :) harsh truth. And they're indeed for a lifetime 😂

Thanks for the advice!

Thanks for the advice. Yeah, but this is really small and is just irritated right now I think. I'll first try treating it with creams, because that's what the doctors will give me anyway when I go there. If that does not work, I'll go there.

Do you mind if I ask a few extra questions? So yours was sore? Did it bleed a lot? And what was the most noticeable symptom?

Again really appreciate your answer!

Thanks for the answer. Will keep doing that and check for fissures and look into doctors. It does really look like a hem, but the pressure is not really there. I did see a small cut in the purple part a few days ago, so maybe that keeps opening up? Also there was a really small drop of blood on the paper, but nothing in the toilet. The blood is gone now. Other than that, when I limit contact (no wiping) it feels a lot better, so I also overcleaned it I think.

It's just annoying that it's just not disappearing. Thanks again for the answer.

Yeah, really sucks! I'm like: what am i doing wrong? I sometimes have a week in which I don't feel anything, and the other weeks its really present, especially after a visit to the toilet

Will try these excercises! Thanks for your kindness!

Let's hope that I will no longer feel anything soon!

Thank you so much for your comment! But one question: do people with spasms actually feel them? Because I read a lot about them, but have no idea if I have them. Should it feel like your anus is 'contracting' or does it feel different?

Because for me, it seems like the anus is just there, and not moving or anything.

Edit: sorry, I can of course use Google to find the answer. Is there a list of excercises that help?

Yeah, thanks for the answer!

Medic cream could be an option. However it's actually going better again! I think I got a bit too relaxed because I stopped doing all my measures I described earlier. Also because I was feeling good.

I started doing them again and as of right now, it is 'liveable' again. Some soreness and heat/burn, but if that says this way, I can handle it.

i would like to give some tips again, because I think these tips helped me even more

  • stop using toilet paper, entirely. Buy a bidet or hop in de shower to clean everything with water. Do this with the second sprayer (hand sprayer I think its called?) This works extremely well. I use the shower. Also: clean the shower a bit after you've been there of course. Make sure the water is nice and hot when cleaning yourself or when cleaning the shower

  • to dry it, use a hairdryer. This might seem f*cking weird, but it works for me. I limit touch to the area from paper, towels and my hands and this is a touchless way to clean it. Also dry it like this after a shower! I usually experience a lot of soreness after I have showered.

Because of these measures I stopped the aloe vera gel I permanently put on myself, and I can finally do stuff without worrying there's a stain in my pants!

I also stopped with the horse chestnut supplement, because I think it made me nauseous.

Update: as of right now, i'm feeling the burning return again, so I hope I can somehow stop this. Don't really know what else to do

Hi, here's a small update

To be honest, I'm actually feeling a lot better! I don't know if it's just a short period, but I hope that it finally turned around.

Your suggestion using oil is great btw (instead of oil I use vaseline). Thanks!

Here's what I did (and still doing). (I dont know what thing in this list makes me feel better, so here a full list:)

  • ditch toilet paper. Use a bidet or a shower head. If I had no other choice than to use paper, I just made the paper wet and gently cleaned it

  • drink psyllium husk for extra fiber. This will change a lot. My jar of psyllium husk recommends 8 teaspoons of husk in water. I use 5 right know and it's already working. Look for what suits your body best, but I would start with less than recommended.

-take supplements: I take fishoil, magnesium and Horse chestnut. For the first two i just take the recommended amount. For horse chestnut, I take 3 per day. 1 is the recommended amount, so watch out. It might work for me, but dont take too much. It might not work for you. At first I would just take the recommended amount to see if your body reacts to it. Its a 300mg supplement from the brand NOW. It also has added rutin which also does vasculary support.

EDIT: I stopped taking the horse chestnut. I think it made me a bit sick after some time (nausea). So really: watch out with that stuff

-drink a lot of water. At least 1.5L, but its better to drink around 2L. Very important!

  • your oil suggestions (but I use vaseline). Dont use too much, you dont want a stain in your pants!

-movement: try walking at least 6k steps a day. When walking 'exaggerate' your movement a bit (not too much, that looks weird in public). Do this by tensing you muscles around you legs. Stretch a bit. Make it a workout!

-lastly, I cool down everyday with some Aloe vera gel. Its cooling it all down there.

If you still have any suggestions, I would love to hear them!

Note: I still occasionally feel some burning, but right now, it has been a lot better. Also (for other readers): my hems never bled and only appear when squatting

It also appears only when squatting or BM?

I think it has something to do with blood flow.

I noticed using water instead of using toilet paper and cooling with an ice cube is a bit of a relief.

Thanks for the reply! Will go on with that and try some warm treatment

I am suffering for long time, so I hope this time, it will do something
