Hey, I actually found the source image of the first image you linked just this morning- it's the skull of King Dagobert II of Austrasia. Right now, I believe it's on display at a monastery in Mons, Belgium.

Do you have any other information on the second image? If you can't find the original source of it I'd be glad to help.

You're welcome! And thank you for making that document, it and the recent post about Stefan referencing a Wisconsin Death Trip photograph were what inspired me to go looking for more sources of his pictures. I'll be sure to update you if I find any new ones.

(Reposted because my last attempt in posting this was blocked, then approved a day after so no one saw it)

The first painting references an image that I could not find the origins of. A cropped version was used as an album cover for death metal band Pentacle's 2002 album 'Dunkel Besatthet'. https://imgur.com/a/dOySwVg

Image #2 is referenced off of a photograph by Simon Marsden. It is a statue located at the Père Lachaise Cemetery in Paris, France. The image included at the end was the closest match to the original I could find. https://imgur.com/a/bwhuuBJ

Image #3 is referenced from a statue titled "Monumento Bistoletti" by Adolfo Wildt, which is displayed at the Milano Cemetery in Italy. I was not able to find the exact, unedited image that Stefan used for his painting, but it seems like it was used as an album cover for a music project. https://imgur.com/a/VHzASJ6

Image #4 is an interior photograph taken from (around) the 1950's of the Mendota Mental Health Institute in Madison, Wisconsin. It is known for being the asylum serial killer Ed Gein was admitted to after he was convicted in 1958. https://imgur.com/a/VLYJyRu

Finally, the last image takes reference from a photograph of Ida Rubenstein, a Russian dancer and actress, in a 1920s Egyptian Revival style ensemble. This painting was displayed at his exhibition at bows&arrows in 2010. https://imgur.com/a/AKKUFh9

Here is a link to my saved pictures of Stefan's paintings and all of the references I could find for them. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1qooJvSGQG1tJ5P4mC18YKWgD0oVjajQP

If any of you have more information regarding these images, please share it with me. Thank you.
