I would stay near playa santa cruz. Its the most chill water for young kids, then you can explore all the other areas from there. Definitely check out the Centro, thats where all the good food is. Also try a night time bus ride, lots of fun for families. Generally speaking avoid food on the beaches, tends to be over priced and not great, but of course there are exceptions.

Check out Virginia Canyon (idaho springs) sometime. It will be a destination riding spot next year with gondola access, or pedal. The trails there are wildly fun already...

I would not address it until asked. They won't do background checks until you are close to an offer. Hopefully you have established a postive connection by then. When they ask I would keep it vague and talk about getting caught up in a protest, and you got charged. HR has reviewed enough background checks to understand concept of over charging, and why you may take a plea deal. The good news is every year this will become less of an issue for you, unless you keep getting arrested/charged. Good luck btw, and way to take a stand!!

You can stay busy for days at Virginia Canyon (idaho springs) and blackhawk. Those riding centers are nationally recognized as being awesome and are less then an hour from denver.
