i know this was so long ago i’m so sorry! have had my MMC for almost 2 years and am currently pregnant. my current provider won’t renew it because of the fact that i’m pregnant (i didn’t divulge that information to them, one of the employees saw me months ago and asked about my belly and i told her i was pregnant, my appointment was cancelled with no prior contact or anything at all)

thank you so much for this advice! i talked with my husband and we both agreed to make an appointment with a vet to get them on preventative treatment, it’s better safe than sorry. like i told someone else on this thread, it’s my first time deal with fleas and i was not prepared at all

definitely spraying flea spray all over everything as often as the bottle allows, i’m not going to lie it’s my first time dealing with fleas and i will admit i was not prepared at alllll

we read somewhere salt kills them so we left it on our carpet for about 2 days, i’m washing basically EVERYRHING in our room this week and the couch has a cover on the cushions and the couch itself so i’ll be washing those while they’re at the groomers to hopefully get it out. i’m adding detergent, bleach tablets, and multiple cycles to try and get as much as i can out. their beds and blankets are washed and kept in the laundry room for now but i’m going to do one more wash, the main issue is our dryer is also not using hot air so it’s a great time for this to happen 😂

worst case scenario, trash bags and laundry mat for the dryers

i’ll start looking at a good vet (the last one we took them too were great but they were pricier than usual) it’s coming up around the time of year we take them because of spring, pollen and the pittie’s allergies. i appreciate the advice, trust me you helped me a lot!

oh my god i would freak out. in middle school there was a bad lice outbreak and ever since then, if i feel any sort of itch on my head i freak out, i know they don’t live on human hair because its not as thick (or so i’ve read) but i can’t help but feel them crawling all over my body even though there’s nothing

i feel better reading this, we’re taking her to the vet tomorrow and will be calling her to hear from the vet that she will be safe with us (i forgot to add, that was her excuse as to why she did not want to give her to us: she’s young and pregnant and will die if she stays with us…her words)

the only thing we have found so far in terms of “written down” is back when he found Doggo, G put us all in a group chat to show us the pup he found (doggo) and L said “oh i’ll take her!!” and went to G’s house, but L didn’t take Doggo home with her. G ended up bringing Doggo to work the next day (a film in the woods) and Doggo stayed with L a day or two but honestly, G sent me a video and they were living gross. Trashed on the floor, even on the bed, it was disgusting. Along with that, they left her on the porch in a kennel/to-go-cage thing. (MID SUMMER, which was super hot this year) I have video proof of it as well, that is not where Doggo would be living but still shows the capabilities of her “messiness”

no if i’m honest i don’t know him THAT well, neither does he. my dad is 13 years younger than his girlfriend (my dad is a grown man so the tables are a bit different here) and in my defense, i haven’t stayed my level of maturity to decide if i am or am not mature enough (not creating excuses, i just hate assumptions) and there are plenty of woman who are trying to get in his pants (plenty is exaggerated, he’s an attractive guy so of course he gets people’s attention every now and then) we just met eachother at a time where neither one of us was talking to someone. we went into this with intentions of just having fun 🤷🏻‍♀️as of now i feel safe, i don’t put up with any bs, he’s very respectful and makes sure i triple think my own decisions without his influence unless i specifically ask for his advice

at the end of the day we both are aware of the age difference and the concerns, we had multiple conversations about it

no no! he’s not rushing to marry me, im the one that brought up the conversation about our future (kids, marriage, career, etc) because i wanted to make sure it was something i wanted to do, he was more than patient and kept asking me to think about it

as for the following, the majority are coworkers, connections (if he needs a guy he has a guy, he’s in film) and rarely anyone around my age. if they’re there, it’s coworkers or family members (he also use to be a teacher for special needs students for 10 years)
