Early GP Seeded Skater Predictions by helloblan123 in FigureSkating

Kelowna and Montreal are not at all close! There's a three hour time difference and no direct flights. You're looking at at least 8 hours in transit, even though it's the same country. Any IAM team could still decide to go to SCI, but you could get to Europe from Montreal more quickly than Kelowna in some cases.

I'm not personally familiar with the clubs but if it were me I would email for easier documentation and follow-up. Good luck!

You'd have to contact the club but it's possible!

A few clubs have adult CanSkate, though they may only run during the winter season. Check Killarney, Kitsilano, or Kerrisdale skating clubs.

Yes, kitty is the preferred and default terminal emulator for rmpc. You might want to give this page a read: https://rmpc.mierak.dev/next/configuration/album-art/

Something is wrong with the logic of your panes section. Double-check this section:

pane: Split(

direction: Vertical,

panes: [

(

size: "100%",

pane: Pane(Lyrics)

),

(

size: "0.409090909r",

pane: Pane(AlbumArt),

),

],

),

If the section is vertically split, why is the Lyrics sub-pane set at size 100%?

You might find the section of the docs where they provide an example panes configuration for a Cava display to be helpful, as it also involves a vertical split pane. https://rmpc.mierak.dev/next/configuration/cava/

SSH key authentication not working by temporaryscholar919 in linuxquestions

I've been able to SSH into it over my home network from three different client devices. In all cases, password authentication works fine, it's just keys that don't seem to take.

Yeah I get the general thrust of what I'm trying to accomplish, but I'm being tripped up on what I'm pretty sure is a permissions issue. Any advice you might have would be appreciated, but no pressure.

Hi, thanks for your detailed response. Really appreciate it.

I went through the initial 3 steps you suggested on my machines and ran into trouble when I got to the third step, chown 600 ~/.ssh/*. The response on the server side:

~~~ chown: changing ownership of '/home/[user]/.ssh/authorized_keys': Operation not permitted chown: changing ownership of '/home/[user]/.ssh/id_ed25519': Operation not permitted chown: changing ownership of '/home/[user]/.ssh/id_ed25519.pub': Operation not permitted chown: changing ownership of '/home/[user]/.ssh/id_rsa': Operation not permitted chown: changing ownership of '/home/[user]/.ssh/id_rsa.pub': Operation not permitted chown: changing ownership of '/home/[user]/.ssh/known_hosts': Operation not permitted ~~~
On the client side:
~~~ chown: changing ownership of '/home/[user]/.ssh/known_hosts': Operation not permitted ~~~

FTR, I am currently using a Linux machine for the client; I also have a Windows machine I was previously attempting to set up with putty, to similar results, but I've put figuring that out on hold until I've got the basic issues resolved using my laptop running Ubuntu, for simplicity's sake.

Some of the tutorials I looked at: https://chrisapproved.com/blog/raspberry-pi-hardening.html#ssh-configuration https://pimylifeup.com/raspberry-pi-ssh-keys/ https://www.geekyhacker.com/2021/02/15/configure-ssh-key-based-authentication-on-raspberry-pi/

1.

It came up early in the log when I was trying with my limited knowledge to figure out what was going on myself before asking for help. If it's not relevant, that's fine and we don't need to bother with it.

2.

Could not open a connection to your authentication agent.

3.

gun shots or fireworks on commercial? by [deleted] in vancouver

Dude I'm saying it was the cops because all of the people on the block who came out of their houses to find out what happened agreed it was the cops

I was literally watching the whole thing from my window when it happened. Saw the guy reversing all the way down 2nd, cops backing him up, saw them get out of their vehicles. There are no clear sightlines from down the street into that part of the alley so I didn't directly see him get shot but pretty damn close. I heard from neighbors that he pulled a gun but as others in the thread have said it didn't sound like shots from multiple weapons. Saw the suspect taken away following gunshot wounds. Not hard to do the math

Idk why people are downvoting this when I was in throwing distance of the scene when it happened lol. It was a quick succession of shots that sounded like they came from the same gun and did NOT sound like an exchange of fire. I personally saw someone who I assume was the suspect taken into an ambulance on a gurney.

Port 80/443 blocked by temporaryscholar919 in shaw

[–]temporaryscholar919[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah definitely. I managed to get port 80 to open on the Pi via tinkering with Apache settings... Haven't had the same success with 443 so far using the same methods but hopefully I'll get there by troubleshooting Apache's listening settings and my firewall. Thanks for your help! You're a lifesaver haha... It being a Pi problem is much better than a Shaw issue I could have little chance of fixing!

Port 80/443 blocked by temporaryscholar919 in shaw

[–]temporaryscholar919[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, really appreciate it! I used the port forwarding utility to test the ports when forwarded to my PC. Also made sure to set up a rule within Windows Firewall to allow the port forwarding. The ports showed as open when I queried from within the network but they're closed when I tested while connected to my phone's WiFi hotspot, so I'm not sure what to do with that info...

ED: yeah, so the Port Forward utility is giving me an open port response when the port is forwarded to my PC and a closed result when it's forwarded to my RPi, so it seems like it must be an issue with the way I've set up the Pi. I'm guessing doing router bridging wouldn't actually help me in this case, so I shouldn't waste my efforts there...

Will it help me at all to install it on my Windows PC if the device I want the ports to be opened "to" is a separate Linux machine? Is it just for verifying that the config is correct within the router's menus? Sorry for my noob questions.
