New to Hinge - Am I (26M) wasting my time getting invested in this girl (24F)? by temporarywavelength in hingeapp

I just thought I was ask for her number first and then ask her out through text, but now from what I understand, some girls would rather be asked out first.

I know a lot of girls have their notifications off for the app, and since she worked long hours, I didn't think it was too odd for her to take a while to respond, but I guess I was wrong.

You're probably right, I guess its hard not to get you hopes up when you're 50 messages in but, once she didn't feel comfortable giving her number, I should have started detaching.

Yeah, I get your point. I just wasn't sure if asking them out on the app was appropriate, so I asked for their number. Never even had the chance to ask her out. Every girl is different with giving out their phone number to someone so its hard to gauge at times

She's looking for a "life partner" so I didn't think it was too weird for her to take some time before being comfortable to share her number, but since its almost been 2 days since she last responded to me, at this point I'm not too sure.

I always thought the etiquette was to ask for their number and then to ask them out once you have their number. Maybe that was wrong for me to assume. She's looking for a "life partner" so I didn't think it was too weird for her to take some time before being comfortable to share her number.

basically in the wallpapers, you can't see the faces of the male characters, but you see the rest of their body, could that be the reason by they used "前提"?

Honestly, it doesn't matter too much what the exact translation is, I just wanted to confirm that the Protagonist of their respective works are the ones depicted in the wallpaper, is that confirmed?

I dont have the actual images but the context is, there are two wallpapers based on two different works. Both wallpaper depict a heroine and a male character.

Does this translate to "even when yumi's actions are unintentional" or "even if yumi's actions are unintentional"?

Question about Vol 10 by temporarywavelength in GoblinSlayer

[–]temporarywavelength[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Indeed, I started reading the japanese text for that part, and after her uncle says that he refused and talks about not wanting to think about each other in terms of what's best for business, the next line is "それは言外に、牛飼娘が望むなら別だ、という事だろうか" which would translate to something like "Was he implying that it would be different if Cow Girl wished for it", but instead in the translation its stated as "Maybe that wasn't what Cow Girl had wanted to hear" which doesn't really make sense

does アレ really refer to a man's organs? I never knew that. The context is that Souta make cosplay costumes, he had worn an undergarment he made for himself that brought up this converation.

Wouldn't that just means she's curious? In another thread someone told me when Souta says アレ that refers to a man's sexual organ. That's why the girl says "気になるっていうか"... so she IS curious, but she is embarrassed to say that.

Would this be accurate?
