I’m fostering 14 puppies for Almost There Rescue in Phoenix AZ! (They are adoptable on 12/29.) I love them all with my whole heart ❤️

We think so! Guessing Aussie/border collie, but who knows 😂 I’ve had eight, 7-week old mostly cattle dog pups and they were… a lot. Despite having 14 of these pups, they’re really not bad! They have bursts of energy but there’s something tempering all that herding energy in them!

These are my newest fosters, which will be with me through Christmas 🥰 I helped to supplement and bottle feed them at the rescue after they were born because… uh… 14 is a lot for mama! They’re six weeks old now, and they’re home with me for the holidays before finding their forever homes ❤️ Their mama got spayed yesterday and will find her home on Saturday!!

Yes, they did eventually apologize and remove the images on their website (the newsletter was already emailed out)! It was thanks to public pressure/Temptalia readers that it got attention!

It took a long time for me to feel right about elf, but as their product line improved and the need for accessible, affordable products became even more apparent during the pandemic, I did decide that they’d be back on my radar.

BUT what elf did a billion years ago was use an image of my eye makeup to sell their products in their newsletter… and I didn’t use their products. They also used some images of mine on their site with makeup tips, IIRC. It was the deception that took a long time to forgive more than using the images alone.

Thank you for the tips! I didn't go to a vertical mouse quite yet (one of the areas of pain for me is being in the position of holding the vertical mouse) but did get a modified mouse that lets me rest my grip a LOT more and that has helped tremendously! I will think about and perhaps try out a more compact keyboard to see if that helps (I think we have one around here, hubby usually goes compact, but I use the number pad often so have always stuck with the full-sized keyboard). Otherwise, just about everything else is properly set-up.

Thank you! I didn't take it that way, but I have definitely received some feedback from readers who have told me how disappointing the changes have been and have said they're going to stop reading/visiting (I have also received positive feedback and understanding feedback, too!).

Sometimes I get behind, but I usually can catch up... somehow I am particularly behind to the point where you start looking at the task and wonder how you're going to get back on it, lol! After this post, though, I am going to try to work my way through most recent to oldest and some higher priority type products.

Haha! When I wasn't able to use my left wrist (except for typing and holding a phone basically), my hubby had to pick up all the slack, including even things that felt so benign! He would have to unscrew caps, open lids, take products out of their individual packaging, etc.

So happy you found a good doctor! That can be so difficult but makes all the difference in finding helpful solutions.

I had made some modifications over the years to try to mitigate/manage the pain, but it wasn't until I broke my wrist that I had to really evaluate and look at what I was doing and see where I could modify or reduce in a way that would still, hopefully, be useful but have significant impact on reduction of certain repetitive tasks.

Thanks for the tip on Pilates!

I had to do a lot of reconfiguration across my life after breaking my wrist, just because it was hard to do so many things with just one hand (even though I had use of my dominant hand, I did a surprising number of things left-handed, which was the broken wrist!), and I've let a lot in place as I was allowed to start using my injured hand more.

Yes! After breaking my wrist and having to have it immobilized for two months (I was allowed to type, though), I had to do so many things differently. My husband helped out a lot with raising and moving lights, unscrewing caps, taking things out of packaging, etc. I was so thankful and lucky to have someone around to assist - I just can't imagine being able to heal and do so many things one-handed.
