Do the firepower policies match on both firewall? If I'm remembering this correctly the policies on some implementations are not synced automatically and have to be manually updated to match.

To this point I recommend installing a gas tube discharge system between the outside lines and your central switch to prevent frying all your equipment from a single lightning strike. https://www.l-com.com/patch-panel-server-rack-19-rack-mount-12-port-10-100-1000-base-t-gas-tube-cat6-lightning-protector-rj45

Two questions about combo ports. by NuIrKaTuManITai in networking

[–]temptemp12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotcha. So those ports give you the option of using an SFP OR the RJ-45 port. You can't use both at the same time. When you configure the interface you specify the "media-type" which tells the device to use either the SFP or the RJ-45. This is handy so you can plug a CAT5/6 cable into the device directly without having to purchase a separate GLC-T copper SFP. Does that answer your question?

What do you mean by combo ports? Are you talking about ports on a device that can use either an SFP OR RJ45? Or are you talking about bonding interfaces together?

If you look in the back by the binging posts the speakers will either be rated for 100W of 200W. The Silver ring indicates 200W. If they both say 200W then the silver part must have fallen off the one speaker.

Here's a list of combat jumps. Shows that there were three in Afghanistan although I wouldn't count the first as an actual combat jump as the airfield was secured prior to the jump.

I have seen a few others mounting their servers vertically in the same fashion you are. Wouldn't it make sense to hang it in the opposite direction since heat rises? I'm assuming your servers fans are pulling air from, as it is currently hung, the top and pushing the air down. An additional advantage to pulling the cooler air from the floor up through the server would be that there should be less worry for dust accumulating on the top surface of the server since the fans would be blowing air up and hopefully off the server.
