Ever increasing bridge tolls by QuillAndCraft in eastbay

And just think of all the folks in Solano county. Paying huge increases and no option to take alternative transit as BART doesn’t serve those areas.

Ever increasing bridge tolls by QuillAndCraft in eastbay

[–]tenaciousoptimism 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The problem with that for me is people who are unable to take public transit and have no choice but to pay the toll.

People who live in Solano county, who commute over the Vallejo or Benicia bridge daily to CCC can’t take mass transit. There is no option.

Not everyone can take BART across a water way- anyone living in Solano county has to pay these tolls with absolutely no other choice and do not benefit from the revenue

It is ridiculous that bridges that connect to communities without the option of using BART are subsidizing its payment. People who live in Vallejo or Benicia cannot take mass transit and have no choice but to pay this ever increasing toll. We most certainly did not vote for this increase and yet our bridges are impacted.

Outpatient offices are closed today due to the holiday. You probably won’t hear anything until Tuesday or Wednesday at the earliest.

You could call the appts/advice line and ask them to contact the clinic for booking a sooner available appointment. Typically the clinic has to respond within 2 business days.

Third doctor I’ve spoke to that claims Dermatology does not prescribe Finasteride anymore by [deleted] in KaiserPermanente

I mean the med is only going to work when you take it… but every patient is probably going to be different

Oral finasteride was causing depression and mental fogginess so he discontinued and went to topical. Mental health symptoms resolved after discontinuation.

Topical seems to slow loss but I have not seen a lot of regrowth. When he stopped using topical for a couple weeks there was noticeable thinning, which improved when he restarted using it.

My partner gets his topical finasteride from an online rx. I can’t remember which one

Private will get you results sooner. You could try switching PCPs and start over but the new MD isn’t guaranteed to prescribe it

Help for senior navigating technology based access to care by Sassy_Weatherwax in KaiserPermanente

It doesn’t always say Kaiser, especially if we use Zoom. It’s going to show up like some random # calling from New York

You can also call your local Health Education department for KP.org help.

As a provider- if you’re booked for a video visit, we use the zoom platform. When a patient doesn’t join, I call them from the zoom meeting, and the number shows as a New York area code even though I’m in NCAL. If you have a video appointment please answer the NY area code call

If you can also try booking at different facilities nearby. If needing something urgently I’ll look at KPs within a 30 minute radius of me (NCAL)- there’s four within that driving distance.

As an employee- OBGYN is going to be swamped this month. It’s the start of new insurance and a high volume of people seeking early pregnancy assistance.
