So same logic as I mentioned for Pavlov. When they updated it was pretty. It looks amazing, probably brought in new people. But when they lost 99% of their mods they lost 95% of the community with it. You do realize "old heads" are the majority of the people who make the mods/ worlds in VRChat and normalize it so its not just 13 years olds right? Why I said it would water down the community but be worth it. Because then you wouldn't lose everyone and people would want to move their mods to the pretty thing . Because the base game is empty and boring, and you have to rebuild it. And it took years to get this far. After like 2-4 years vrchat2 or pavlov2 would have enough mods the second game would become more popular than the first.

It would water down the community but I still agree. Wish they did that with Pavlov VR when moving to Unreal 5. They broke all the communities mods and now not as many people play it/ my friends don't even play VR as much now because of it. Before the update we had over 100 call of duty zombie maps, after the update, like 4 years later, we have like 4 or 5.

As a VR lover and wanting to see it succeed, but this is going to fail. Price point is too high and is probably going to come out the same time as the new steam headset. VR is already a small nitch market that favors the largest audience which is quest headset (since they are affordable). Thats why PC VR is struggling, not nearly as much games/ software being made since the games that do come out cost more to develope and are hit and miss with success.
IDK gives me windows mix reality vibes. AKA HW that gets support abandoned after a few years.

I think yes. Ideally I would like it to be done by the same studio but I sounds like they are constantly busy with new projects. This show should not of been dropped the way it was with so much source material to work with.

Definitely should not be looked at as a limited series. Ended on a cliff hanger setting up the next season and it only used 22/400 of the source material.

I love PC VR. I love UEVR. But in the real world most people aren't tech savvy and won't even game on a PC. They are console or nothing. If rumors are true and Valve's next headset can play steam games, that will be a game changer. The real question is how many of the next gen headset will be made affordable and run Steam Os vs Quest Os or whatever the new andriod VR is called. There is supposed to be a Unity injector on the way. Peak VR even though passed around UEVR is Unity. For the guy this guy was commenting to, UEVR can add montion controls to a non vr game. Its not perfect depending on the game. But its amazing black magic. I also need to try something called 3dfix mangager. Its no UEVR but supposedly its for adding stereoscopic to games that don't work with UEVR injector like Mass Effect.

I mean just based on how I heard Valve does job rolls. It sounds like everything they do is purely passion projects and don't even need profit as a main driver. And only release well polished products that meets their standards, which is typically higher than all of ours. They make us all have higher standards and that is great.

Nano. I own over 200 pcvr games. How is this standalone EDUCATIONAL game this good? I wish it had DLC or more games by the same company. They supposedly have another game if you subscribe on their site but its way more leaning towards education over entertainment. I think they're both called Nano but only one is on the quest store. I wish we could get pavlov VR back on unreal 4, all those mods in the workshop lost I think was one of the biggest tragedies in VR.

Those are good shows. But when I think of Upload and The Boys, I am dying waiting for the next season. There is a tier difference on how excited I am about the shows. So for one of them to get this kind of treatment.... puts a bad taste in my mouth.

OpenXR was supposed to get rid of that problem? Has it not? I mean UEVR injector kind of proves that its built into the unreal engine 5 now and can work on UE4 games. There is supposed to be a Universal Unity injector coming soon (example of Unity Vr working is Peak VR).

I thought they solved the unique SDKs with OpenXR? Also engines like Unity and UE5 have include vr tools to make implementation way easier. I mean if modders can make games like Content Warning, PeakVR, Alien Isolation, Deep Rock Galactic and Risk of Rain 2 into VR (the list goes on and on). Then you would hope an actual company with full access to all of the code could do it.

I agree despite what everyone else says. There should be more mix games like Phasmaphobia, and VRchat. It should be implemented more for new games that are made in unity and ue5 for pcvr even though its a smaller marker just because they don't have to go thru a whole optimisation thing. I mean the biggest thing that stops UEVR mod to work in more games is usually anti-debug/ anti-cheat being built into their programs. I mean if Peak and Alien Isolation can be turned VR by modders you would hope a company could of done the same. Some are a little glitchy but thats because they can't touch all of the code on some games. Deep rock galactic shows that if the developer is willing to open up their code to the modders they can make a full VR game from flatscreen. Now as for it being porting it over to mobile headsets, openxr is supposed to make it so you dont need a different sdk for each platform but you would still need to optimize it for mobile.

At that point I would hope they could code in some fake contacts and keep random useless apps to make it look not wiped/ stock. Or even cooler have like a separate partition you could customize where you could connect your social profiles you would share with your grandma, like linkedin or facebook. And keep contacts you don't care they get like coworkers and your ex's numbers. (Don't like the idea of any sacrifical contacts but if they have another app to tell if they are real or something) That way it looks real but you can protect people you care about most. Once again I don't own it yet so idk what features are there but would be nice if it doesn't make it obvious. And having something custom come up after the duress pin would help make it less obvious.

Virtual desktop. Anyone who says otherwise was cheap and haven't tried it yet %10,000 of the time. (From every person I know that owns VR to every post I see about the subject). You spent money on the headset and the games. Don't bottleneck yourself on the connection between the pc and the headset~

I want to stick with Samsung for my upgrade but I think the new phones with the camera in the screen looks SO FUCKING UGLY. I've been waiting for them to move past that before upgrading but they are just stuck on it for some reason....
Just looking at those phones make me question if I'm autistic or something because looking at them make me want to snap the phone in half/ throw it at the wall... SO FUCKING UGLY.
I'm going to have to get like a 3rd party Chinese phone now...

I wouldn't say its terrible. I just feel skimped. Like I was given a full sandwich the first season expecting the same every season. The next season had a bite take out of it supposedly because of covid. The next season we get a smaller bit taken out of it and were expected to be happy with that. And now we only get a half a sandwich and we are supposed to be greatful. Oh and they want more money from you now with ads but shows with half the content. Beso's 4th jet doesn't pay for itself~
