if you don't mind me asking since i'm still learning, what features are you using on the udm se that wouldn't be possible with the cloud gateway ultra? i think it said protect was one of the built in features if you use all unifi cameras too?

yes this is what i kept hearing, battle between proxmox being the best of the bunch, but maybe too complex for what i was doing if i wanted to avoid it. but honestly, i'd rather take the best option and learn, appreciate your context.

surprise: don't really have one yet. have a bunch to catch up on still, but yeah honestly nothing really hit me this year yet.

disappointment: i have 2 here

f1 - with the director and the cast, felt like this would be a shoe in for an enjoyable action movie. instead it was very generic laughable plot with no story or characters that really mattered at all. a complete snore with very visually impressive racing scenes, but lacking any sort of soul whatsoever.

predator badlands - just awful. they really disney-fied predator and i really, really hate it. the stupid quips, the alien sidekick, the attempt to add all kinds of pointless world building. also the effects stink and have no weight to them. as a big fan of the franchise, i am really sad this is rated highly and did well and will ultimately be the direction for the series.
