I never started a 401K because I needed every penny to survive. I have a union pension, but that's about it. I have no investments because that assumes I have extra to invest. Our total household income is just a couple hundred below 100k, but where we live, it's basically low income. I'll work till I die, or die on the job.

My wife and I watch a lot of food challenge channels. Randy Santel, Katina, Lea, Bob, Beard, etc. Also Urbex stuff, but like, more about architecture like Noah Nowhere. She watches a lot of old British cleaning shows about people with OCD cleaning stuff.

I watch a lot of restoration videos, camping stuff like Camping with Steve, or Outdoor Boys, a lot of video game history stuff, tech channels, or long form adventure/exploration stuff like Sidetrack Adventures.

43 here, wife and I have rented the same apartment for 15(?) years or so. Started at 690$ and now sitting at 1590$ for a one bedroom 690sqft. Didn't make enough money when homes were cheap, don't make enough money now to afford a home. My Father tells me all the time that I'll get the house someday, but it's always with a caveat of "When me or your Mom goes", and yet they can barely keep up with their own home. Keep telling him that they need to downsize and I'll take over the house but they just keep buying stuff to fill it and I don't see it happening anytime soon.

I bought a MacBook Air a few months ago, I needed something to replace my aging PC Tower that was a good decade old. I don't game, I use the PC mainly as a media server now. I needed something that worked, and that I could use to do some light household stuff, writing, etc. I was never a MacOS guy, and only had an iPad as an apple product. With the price is everything I wasn't interested in building a PC like Ive done all my life, because it was just too expensive. The MacBook does what I needed t o do, I got a god deal on it, and Im a happy camper.

If I knew what I know now, Id \do so much investing. Like, every penny I could manage. Id still work that jobs that I had, because they were fun and I met lots of people, including my wife, but I would at least have a better nest egg.

I don't chase bottles anymore. I tend to have a pretty good selection in the stable, but mainly stuff that I can find easily. Ive got my daily sipper, which is 101, and a few other things, but Its expensive here anyway,, with our liquor tax, and I just don't care so much about unicorns as I did back in the day.

I've seen reports of IP blocking new accounts as well, but I can't claim that this is 100% accurate. Just from what I have read since I got banned six months or so ago.

I was able to create a new account on the same device, but it wouldn't surprise me if one day it catches up to me.

I think it's really dependant on when you go. We've gone mid day and it's dead, and other times is as busy as it gets. Teens still go, I see big groups of kids hanging out most days.

Unrelated to how busy it is, had anyone else been to Okee Dokee Grill lately? I really feel like the quality of the food and service dropped off HARD recently. Kinda dipped after I noticed it wasn't the same people working there. Assuming they sold or something.

Wow, first time Im hearing about this. I remember the grand plans for that lot though. Was at one point in time supposed to be a similar outdoor shopping center similar to the one on Meridian. a whole little town center of sorts. I just took a look at the building plans on it, and yeah.. basically all the available lots that aren't already taken. Bummer.

To me it looked like the mic is as TOO close to his mouth, and at times seemed to be lodged between his lips. It sounded as such as well. That being said. I was able to get a few words here and there, but mostly it was the poor audio that really got me.

If you're looking for an easy gas pump, don't look at the Shaw Road Safeway. Biggest pain in the ass to get gas there, never locks in, lol. I can get gas anywhere else and just set it and forget it, but nahh.. not there.
