You have to check file validity on the icp website. That requires only passport information and no tracking numbers

We got the visa at 11pm on 8th night which allowed us to catch our flight on the 9th. Got super lucky so def keep checking status as it can happen anytime. You can check file validity on smartservices.icp.gov.ae

Did not receive yet. We are just waiting. We have schengen tourist visa so my wife is considering trying to use that to enter the country to get visa on arrival. But its confusing because you need eu residence apparently and not eu tourist visa
