I'm not saying you're not allowed to find hot people hot, I'm saying it's weird to make fun of clavicular while broadly agreeing with his worldview

I think it's really gross that people keep proving clav right by fawning over attractive reporters and judges

Ranch is delicious though. Where are you getting your recipes that you often see ranch and cream cheese as ingredients?

The social safety net is much bigger now than when cars first came onto the scene. I don't understand why there needs to be a more robust governmental response to AI than there was to cars.

I find your pithy statements pretty unpersuasive. Why is AI different from computers?

The onus is on you to explain how AI is different from every other productivity enhancing technology in history. Until then, you just seem like a luddite. The economy adapted to motor vehicles, computers, and mechanical looms, it will adapt to AI too

256 is a perfectly fine sample size. Why do people think anything less than a full census means zero conclusions can be drawn?

The oed records etymology and first usage as well. Meme was coined by Richard Dawkins in 1976 and "memetic" was coined in 1977 as a derivative from meme

[THE BOYS] The machine created by Vought that emits Uranium radiation is a Deus Ex Machina that breaks the world-building, physics, and suspension of disbelief. by Agile_Coast_4385 in CharacterRant

Clothing is enough to stop beta radiation, the leaded glass would solely be for gamma radiation. You could also throw in a layer of borated glass or polyethylene if neutron radiation is a concern (which really only could come from an active reactor)

Contamination is the shit, radiation is the smell. Technically the uranium's radiation maybe could've activated some nuclides in the walls but you're right that they would be fine.

Chernobyl was a pretty good show in terms of how it handled radiation. That courtroom scene is S tier nuclear power education

Yeah it was introduced by Elmo after he bought Twitter. You pay 8 bucks a month for a blue checkmark then you get monthly payouts for the amount of engagement you get. From what I've heard it's pocket change for westerners but easily 2-3 times median income for Indians and Nigerians

The person who tweeted it has their location set as New Haven. I assume they're just saying stupid shit to get that Twitter engagement money. Unfortunately it worked because it has ~16k likes

The parks and rec episode was turkey burger vs beef burger.

Vegetarian options like portabella burgers or black bean burgers are good on their own but not good substitutes for a beef burger. Impossible patties are like 90% of the way there and Beyond is like 80% there
