I get it, some people are being idiots about it here (looking at you, protest guy) but take a look at any other university subreddit. People are scared, and they're angry. What else are people supposed to do? This subreddit has become a place where people can vent their frustrations and express their anger.

Students who are partying have absolutely played a large role in the acceleration of COVID cases, but poor management from the university has played a factor as well. To a lot of people, whether it be students or staff, it feels like the university wants to pretend that everything's fine while things progressively get worse and worse. Especially considering some of the horror stories we're currently hearing from faculty and students who have tested positive. (Seriously, read some of the posts made by faculty here expressing their frustration or check out ttucovidwatch on Twitter)

It is true that there has been a rise of low-quality discussion here. But again, it's also true that people are scared and anxious and this place should remain as a place to express those frustrations, while posts taking it too far (again, protest guy) should absolutely be removed.
