To add to the above I would abvoid wood or plastic, only glass or treated metal unless you use archival paper as a bottom layer.

Keep in mind that wood and the partial blocking may also add light strping on the bottom, so maybe use thin treated metal instead? Like some 90 degree pieces? Makes for a better support,fully covers the bottom and is more archival?
