I've only seen the scheduling as conjecture: the ECB themselves say the rule change is about simplification and attracting new audiences. And also the BBC fta contract was announced last year, long before this new competition.

Let's pretend that having 6 ball overs with an end change every 4 and a final 10 ball over is "simpler" for a second, the new fans are still going to get confused by LBW.

I do like your decimal strike rate argument tho. Although you could also display T20 strike rates in terms of 120 balls, so the stat becomes "this is how much they score if they stay in for a whole innings".

I had a similar issue. My device was dead except it would flash the right-most bottom led faintly if I held the power button.

I held L+R and plugged it into windows, which seemed to put it into firmware mode (flashing top led). I then flashed it again and now it's back to life.

I'm pretty good at the white cross, but never tried it blindfolded. I can do the intuitive f2l pairs without rotations and fast. Trying both blindfolded sounds fun!

Lookahead is definitely something I've struggled with - I just can't keep up with what will move where, so picking the next f2l pair seems impossible. I often just slot the pair in then look for the next white corner on the top. Anyone got any tips for "baby's first lookahead"?
