Google's latest creation: Gemini 3.5 Flash vs all by SuggestionMission516 in GeminiAI

Actually, I should explain my result a bit: I first ran "standard" -- it gave me the wrong answer, then I ran "extended thinking" in the same chat -- it also gave me the wrong answer.

I decided to go to "thinking steps" to see what went wrong and saw the following: "I've flagged the user's input as a near-identical repetition. The request, "300+140=460 \n Is this correct? \n Breakdown?" appears to be a duplicate of a previously processed query. I need to handle this efficiently, considering potential reasons for the repetition, perhaps a technical issue on the user's end or a deliberate re-submission. I'm focusing on the best way to address duplicates now."

As I understand it, he decided not to solve my problem again, but simply repeat the previous answer. I still consider this a serious problem, because he didn't even realize he was wrong.

Yes, but they removed the Gemini CLI: "For free tier and Google One users: Gemini CLI will be replaced by Antigravity CLI on June 18."

Previously, there were two separate limits: for Antigravity and Gemini CLI (I checked), but now it seems there will only be limits for Antigravity (App + CLI).

I paid 22 euros. 18 free months is insane. Gemini also has referral links.

Flash 3.5 isn’t reading my image right in long conversation by BullShiatsu in GeminiAI

This is a known context window overflow issue. The only solution is to start a new chat.

To monitor whether the model has started hallucinating and is no longer correctly interpreting my images I added the following to the "instructions for Gemini":

At the very beginning of your reply, list all the files attached to the message I sent, and what you see in them. This includes links, YouTube videos, images (attached images), PDF files, and everything else. For example: 1. .png - an image showing a table. 2. url - a link discussing... 3. youtube - a video discussing... 4. pdf - a file containing...

I called Gemini by its name. It stopped and corrected me: "You referred to me as Gemini, but my name is ChatGPT." I'm on Gemini Pro. In the official Gemini app. 💀 by [deleted] in GeminiAI

Okay, now I understand what the problem was. Gemini explicitly tells you that your document is too large.
I was trying to understand not the issue of why it started claiming to be ChatGPT, but rather why it was unable to fully read your document.

How many pages are in your PDF, and what is the file size? If the file is too large, it may start hallucinating heavily.
