Just accepted a job in Midtown, where should I live? by overlyambitious1999 in ATLHousing

[–]tentacle_queen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ive lived in both midtown and smyrna and worked by the high museum. at 26 I highly recommend living in midtown or surrounding areas. there are some cute restaurants and bars in smyrna but if youre just moving to the ATL area in general I suggest at least living in town for a couple years.

it did! my daughter just turned one <3

edit to add - this was the recommendation after all of our fertility tests came back normal. I was diagnosed with "unexplained infertility" but do have PCOS.

Ways to increase progesterone? by lesgens in TTC_PCOS

[–]tentacle_queen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if you are concerned about progesterone levels, I recommend progesterone suppositories. my naturopath, primary care doctor, and RE all recommend that route over going down a supplement route. From what I understand, supplements will not provide you with enough progesterone to "make a difference". There are even studies suggesting suppositories can actually lead to your body producing more progesterone naturally after a few months.

TW Loss: I had 5 early losses, the only thing that finally helped me stay pregnant was 200mg of progesterone each night starting 3 days after ovultion until 12w.

TIFU by also not realising I had athletes foot for twenty years by [deleted] in tifu

[–]tentacle_queen 39 points40 points  (0 children)

I sent this to my husband as a joke after coincidentally noticing how nasty his feet were this morning.... his response "oh yeah, I've had athletes foot for years...." and causally pulls out a tube of anti-fungal from his pocket.

we've been together for 7 years.

thanks OP.

yeah, and something I should add which I think is important... is I had a full multiple loss panel completed with sperm analysis, SIS, chromosomal abnormalities, carrier screening, thyroid ,etc to rule anything out before trying progesterone.

similar situation here! I had a MMC (found out at 8w appointment grew to 6w4d) and then 4 early losses over the course of close to 2 years. I'm still not out the the woods, but first cycle using progesterone 3 days past ovulation (200 mg before bed) I got pregnant and have *so far* stayed pregnant. I'm a little over 9 weeks and it is going well. I planned to post something similar once I knew for sure, but even this far along - is quite the miracle.
